Directions

From Houston and common to North, East, and West

  1. Take 1-45 South to Galveston Island. When the freeway ends, it becomes Broadway.
  2. From that point continue 3 miles to 19th Street.
  3. Turn right on 19th, go 3 blocks to Avenue M and turn right on Avenue M.
  4. The Inn is the third house on the right, a 2 story white & yellow house. 1914 Avenue M

From North of Houston on I-45

To avoid the Houston downtown area you can take the Hardy Toll Way south of the Woodlands. It will end at I-610. Or follow Houston instructions.

  1. Take I-610 E, which will circle around south and then west.
  2. At I-45 take the Galveston interchange South, it will be to the right
  3. Follow Houston Directions.

From East of Houston on I-10, 59, or 90

To avoid the Houston Downtown area you can take the Beltway 8 Toll Way.

  1. Go south on Beltway 8 it will circle around to the west.
  2. At I-45 take the Galveston Interchange.
  3. Follow Houston Directions.

From West of Houston on I-10, 290, or 59

To avoid the Houston Downtown area you can take the Beltway 8 Toll Way.

  1. Go south on Beltway 8 it will circle around to the east. ( $3 or $4 toll, gold dollars work)
  2. At I-45 take the Galveston Interchange, South.
  3. Follow Houston Directions.

From Beaumont

  1. Take I-10 West to Texas 124, go South to Texas 87 and the Texas Highway Department Ferry.
  2. Exit Ferry, on Ferry Road, go to Seawall Blvd. Turn right.
  3. Stay in the RIGHT lanes to Broadway and proceed 13 blocks to 19th street.
  4. Turn left on 19th, go 3 blocks to Avenue M, turn right on Ave M.
  5. The Inn is the third house on the right, a 2 story white & yellow house. 1914 Avenue M

From Lake Jackson, Freeport Area

  1. Take State 35 to Columbia then south to Lake Jackson and then Freeport and Surfside to the San Luis Pass (toll bridge)
  2. to Galveston Island. FM 3005 will become Seawall Blvd stay on it until 19th street.
  3. Turn left onto 19th go six blocks to Avenue M (not M1/2) turn left onto Avenue M.
